THE TAJ MAHAL'S LOVE STORY

I, ..., take you, ..., to be my wife/husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law, in the presence of God I make this vow.

Sounds familiar right, we have all heard those words in movies, at weddings we attended , in the books we read or we have pronounced them in reality. And we will keep hearing them till the end of time.

Yes, true love does exist , the " till death do us part" saying is real. I know that not everybody believes in true love but that doesn't mean it does not exist. The fact that you didn't experience it does not mean that its invalid .

Ever heard of The Taj Mahal, well it's one of the greatest love stories, one of the most beautiful love stories.

THE TAJ MAHAL'S LOVE STORY

People express love in different ways, and people feel loved in different ways. But to be honest this guy did something extraordinary. It's a story of love, loss, and honor.
Shah Jahan spotted Mumtaz Mahal at the marketplace in his royal complex. It was love at first sight and he quickly made her his third wife.

These two had a “marriage of love.”  It is said that his marriage with his other 2 wives were more political and that Shah Jahan was only romantically involved with Mumtaz Mahal.

She died while giving birth on one of these trips before reaching the age of 40. Shah Jahan had her temporarily buried in a beautiful garden, and he fell into a depression. He got back on his feet a year later, through his daughter’s efforts.
It is said that Shah Jahan was so heartbroken after her death that he ordered the court into mourning for two years. Sometime after her death, Shah Jahan undertook the task of erecting the world's most beautiful monument in the memory of his beloved. It took 22 years and the labor of 22,000 workers to construct the monument. When Shah Jahan died in 1666, his body was placed in a tomb next to the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal.

It is said that it was built here because Shah Jahan wanted to be able to see his wife from his palace.

This is the true story of the Taj Mahal of India, which has mesmerized many people with its bewitching beauty.

What's your love story ?
