An Open Letter to My Younger Self — About Love

 Hey baby,

I just want you to know that you were born out of love, which explains the reason why you will be a believer in love.

You are born a true lover, as a person who loves deeply. Well, that is a good thing, because when you choose to love a person you give it you're all.

I just want you to know that if you choose to love a person then don’t expect anything in return, do it because you want to.

Am telling you that because not everyone is going to love you back, not everyone you love will love you in the same intensity.

Am telling you that because your high expectations are going to hurt you.

If you happen to love a person or something then love it with your all, it’s okay if there is no reciprocation.

Love is a beautiful thing, and nobody should tell you otherwise.

You are going to experience true love from your family, from yourself, your friends, and some people you meet

Some love given will last forever and some love will be short-lived, and that’s totally okay.

It’s crazy how you might wake up loving somebody someday, and wake up the next day and feel nothing.

So it will also happen that somebody who loves you today might not love you tomorrow. It’s crazy I know, but it’s going to happen.

There is love and infatuation, you will learn the difference as you grow up.

You won’t get to choose who to love, it sometimes it just happens.

You are automatically going to love your family, your God, you ...but for some other people it just happens, you will be shocked that you could love a person at first sight.

When you love somebody or something then show it, if you love a person then tell them because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

I hope you find love in its purest form because it does exist.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

With love,

Future
