One of the most underrated body parts is the lips. This applies to both men and women. Just as we take care of other body parts, our lips should be taken care of equally.




The best part is the lip care routine is one of the easiest, and it will live you with very healthy and soft lips.





1. Stay Hydrated.

Drink enough water daily. This will make your body and hence your lips always moisturized. This has proved to be a remedy for dry lips and will make your lips look healthy.





2. Exfoliate, exfoliate , exfoliate.

Always exfoliate your lips; you can do this daily (recommended) or after every 3 days. You can make a sugar scrub at home and use it to exfoliate, or you can simply use your toothbrush to exfoliate your lips when you are brushing your teeth.





While exfoliating do it gently in a circular motion. Exfoliating your lips will help to remove dead layers of skin and make your lips softer.

Note: Don't over-exfoliate as this could harm your teeth.


3.Apply Oil daily.

Always apply oil to your lips. Liquid oils such as coconut or olive oil are highly recommended. You can also use petroleum jelly or lip therapy.




Always do this during the morning, and at night as you are going to bed.

Applying oils to your lips will help to hydrate and maintain moisture.
