Am a fan of black American movies, they are just unique in their own way. And I highly recommend this one.
Most of the time we grow up and the society, family, friends have high expectations of us. Like you got to have the perfect grades, perfect look, perfect job, and just a perfect life.
But you got to be the real you, do what you love, do your thing because it's your life and when you screw up nobody is going to be held responsible but you. Take risks, make mistakes, and learn from them, and don't forget to have no regrets.
SPOILER...
A young, black woman, Violet has a perfect life, good looks, a good house, a good job, a handsome boyfriend (a doctor).
Violet expects her boyfriend to propose on her birthday, which turns out to be a whole disaster, as Clint (the boyfriend) claims that he thinks they are not ready for marriage as Violet is too "perfect".
NAPPILY EVER AFTER:comedy,drama,romance
